• 2014: Completed residency in surgery at Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine (VU MF). • 2016-11-18: Defended his PhD thesis in medicine on the topic "Functional changes in urinary, sexual, and anorectal systems after radical surgical treatment of rectal cancer." • Since 2020: Associate professor at Vilnius University. • Since 2022: Expert at the Cyprus Research Council, later in Latvia and Poland. • Since 2025: Head of Surgical Oncology department • Has trained at leading medical institutions in the USA, South Korea, Japan, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, and other countries. • Co-author of more than 200 ISI-indexed scientific articles (H-index: 31) and 3 scientific chapters. • Author of over 30 invited presentations at international conferences abroad. • Co-author of the scientific monograph "Oncological Diseases of the Anal Canal: Diagnosis and Treatment." Active member of Lithuanian and international organizations, including: • Cohort Studies (Deputy Chair), Guidelines, and Communication committees of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP). • Member of the EORTC Gastrointestinal Tract Committee. • Member of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery Clinical Research Committee. • Member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. • Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. • Chair of Technology Committee of the International Association of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons. • Board Member of the Lithuanian Society of Minimally Invasive Surgeons. • President of the Lithuanian Society of Oncologists. • Secretary of the Lithuanian Society of Coloproctologists. • Member of the European Commission's Colorectal Cancer Working Group.
