Dr. Joel Goldberg is a senior surgeon and Director of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital which is a founding member of Mass General Brigham Healthcare in Boston, Massachusetts. After residency training at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, he served for 5 years in the United States Air Force and then completed his Colon and Rectal Surgery training at the University of Minnesota. He then joined the faculty at Harvard Medical School and Mass General Brigham Healthcare. He specializes in Colon and Rectal Surgery and practices the full spectrum of the specialty. He has a special interest and focuses his practice on the care of patients with colorectal malignancy and inflammatory bowel disease. Technically, he has a special interest in Robotic surgery.
