Dato’ Dr. Luqman Mazlan is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon, currently serving as the Medical Director and PIC of PICASO Hospital. He holds prominent leadership roles, including President of the Asia-Pacific Federation of Coloproctology and Immediate Past President of the Malaysian Society of Colorectal Surgeons. He is also the Honorary Treasurer of the College of Surgeons, Malaysia and the Colorectal Cancer Survivorship Society of Malaysia (CORUM) and was a member of European Society of Coloproctology (Global Reach) With a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic colorectal surgeries, Dr. Luqman focuses on the management of locally advanced and recurrent colorectal cancers, as well as implementing Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) programs. He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and contributes extensively to international clinical trials, research initiatives, and educational activities in the fields of colorectal surgery and clinical nutrition.
