Dr Nurhashim is General & Colorectal Surgeon at Tawakkal Specialist Hospital. He graduated from the University of St Andrews and obtained his MBChB from the University of Manchester. He completed his MRCS in the UK and later Masters of Surgery from University Malaya.
He did his Colorectal Surgery subspecialty training under the Malaysian Colorectal Subspecialty Training Committee and fellowship training at the Laparoscopic Colorectal (LAPCO) centre at the ICENI centre of Colchester General Hospital, UK.
He has surgical experience in the UK and in various government and university hospitals within Klang Valley.
He is currently the President of the Malaysian Society of Colorectal Surgeons (MSCRS) and active member of the College fo Surgeons , Academy of Medicine Malaysia.
