Shigenobu Emoto Japan

Dr. Shigenobu Emoto graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of The University of Tokyo in 2004 and received his PhD in 2014. He was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at The University of Tokyo in 2017 and has served as Lecturer since 2026. His clinical expertise includes colorectal surgery, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, multimodal treatment for rectal cancer—particularly preoperative chemoradiotherapy—and the medical and surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease.
