Shunjin Ryu Japan

Shunjin Ryu, MD, is Deputy Director in the Department of Digestive Surgery at Kawaguchi Municipal Medical Center, Japan, and a member of the Department of Surgery, The Jikei University School of Medicine. He is a colorectal surgeon with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic surgery. His academic interests include image-guided and fluorescence-guided surgery, surgical education, and the clinical implementation of AI- and immersive technology–based navigation (AR/MR) to improve operative safety and team performance.
