Dr Ganesh Shenoy is a renowned MAS, GI and Robotic surgeon ,innovator and a teacher presently working as Director of Dept of MAS, GI, Bariatric and Robotic surgery at Kauvery Hospitals , Bangalore . He is also the Director of Herniosphere Institute of Training under which he has trained nearly 2500 surgeons from India and abroad . He is currently the Vice President of Hernia Society of India . He was included in the Global record books when he became the first surgeon to perform 13 robotic hernia surgeries on a single robot in a single day in front of 150 surgeons on 15th November 2025. He has been an invited faculty to deliver lectures and demonstrate live surgeries during many National and International conferences. His Centre is regarded as Centre of Excellence in Hernia and Abdominal wall reconstruction surgery by Asia Pacific Hernia Society and Hernia Society of India.
