Dr. Imamura is a board-certified surgeon specializing in ventral and inguinal hernia repair, with particular expertise in complex incisional hernia and advanced laparoscopic suturing. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and a qualified surgeon in the Endoscopic Surgical Skill Qualification System of the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery (JSES). Dr. Imamura serves as a board member of JSES and the Japan Hernia Society (JHS) contributing as lecturer, international affairs committee member, and journal editor. He is also an active member of JSGS, APHS, and ELSA.
