It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 33rd Biennial Congress of the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ISUCRS 2026), which will take place from 23rd to 25th July 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. This year’s theme, "Innovations and Collaborations in Colorectal Surgery: Bridging Tradition and Technology in a Global Village," reflects the exciting progress in colorectal surgery that is transforming how we approach patient care.

The congress will feature a comprehensive scientific program with highlights such as interactive workshops, cutting-edge surgical demonstrations, and expert panels discussing the latest innovations in minimally invasive surgery. Renowned speakers from across the globe will share insights on emerging technologies and treatment approaches that are shaping the future of coloproctology.

We are also pleased to announce that ISUCRS 2026 will be held in conjunction with the 6th Biennial Congress of the Society of Endoscopic, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons Malaysia (SELSMAR Congress 2026), enhancing the multidisciplinary focus and expanding the opportunities for collaboration.
